C K Pithawala College of Engineering & Technology or CKPCET is a self financed institute. It was established in 1998 and was earlier affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. Currently it is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. CKPCET is currently managed by the Navyug Vidyabhavan Trust, which was founded in February, 1965. The college offers courses in Engineering and Technology and Healthcare. Admission to the institute is based on marks scored in 10+2 and through an entrance test.

Library
The college has a well organised library. It has a rich collection of resources in electronic media. The library has computerised its house-keeping activities using a global software called SOUL, developed by INFLIBNET (UGC) that is regularly maintained and updated.
Facilities
The college has well-designed classrooms with proper ventilation and well designed acoustics. There is a separate seminar hall and drawing hall for Computer Graphics and Drawing. The college hosts a Primary Health Centre for students, staff members and local people. It is located in the educational complex, next to the shopping complex and is conveniently approachable. The college also has an eloquently designed massive auditorium. It also has a bus facility.
Student Organisation
The college has various student committees like the Ombudsman, Grievance, Anti-Ragging, and Women’s cells. The student organisation of the college organises various events like the Hi-flyer National level event of aircraft modelling & model car racing and ISTE Sponsored Seminars on Institutional Management.
Placement
Placement is seen as being integral to the student’s degree. The college has a placement cell that is headed by a faculty member of the college. All activities pertaining to campus recruitment are managed by this cell. Companies are invited to the campus every year. The cell is also involved in training and counselling students. Personality development programmes are also conducted for the students. The cell facilitates industry institute interaction on particular occasions.
