Jaideep is the driving force behind Univariety with vast repertoire of experience and exposure being in senior positions at large MNC’s like GE and Ernst & Young. He has played a significant advisory role in clinching deals for International and Indian education companies.  This exposure into the education industry brought him close to understanding his passion for education. He believes that if a business in education industry is conducted appropriately, it will – “gratify both the professional and spiritual side in me”.

Jaideep was selected to be part of GE’s exclusive 2-year global leadership program in finance & strategy and completed the Financial Management Leadership Program (FMP), at Fairfield - CT, USA. He also has a Masters in Business Administration (Finance & Strategy) from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Mumbai and a Bachelor of Business Studies (Finance) from the College of Business Studies, University of Delhi.

With significant multi-cultural experience of having lived, studied and worked across USA, Middle East, India and South East Asia, travel has been a constant in his life.  Technology and the internet invigorate his need to learn more and apply and deliver what was never done before. While he is not waiting at airports in between his extensive travel schedules, he lightens up watching Hindi movies for sheer entertainment, however bad they may be!

An expert in marketing strategy and education consulting Varun is based in London. His engagement with education stems from the several projects he’s handled in his previous roles and has closely been involved in creating Univariety --  “I delight in the challenge of seeing an idea through and turning it right, and Univariety is born from an idea that played on our minds for long, and making it happen right, is what drives me”.

In his last role at Barclays Capital in London, he was the advisor for EMEA’s Equities leadership team on their business and communication strategy.  Prior to Barclays Varun worked as a strategy consultant with Mckinsey & Co. He consulted for the UK government providing consulting services to National Health Care Services.   He began his career in India in Marketing and Sales for leading FMCG companies. In the 5+ years, he worked at Hindustan Unilever (HUL) in their Sales and Marketing function and was also Assistant Brand Manager for ITC’ s flagship brand ‘Wills & Classic’.

Varun has a Masters degree in Business Administration from INSEAD France, a Masters in International Business from IIFT and a Bachelors degree in Business Studies (BBS) from the University of Delhi.  Varun is a ‘natural’ marketing guy, an extrovert who makes friends easily and is known to regale people with his humour and stories. Besides designing and participating in business simulation games and exercises, Varun enjoys teaching and mentoring.  The writer in him is currently penning a fictional novel.

Srini is passionate about creating and building high-end software solutions with a user friendly, e-commerce interface for students seeking guidance in pursuing higher education. The brain behind the portal and all the technological  innovations is Srini, who comes with a solid 16+ years of focused work as a technical lead/software architect/delivery lead in creating web based platforms for top notch companies, both in the US and India.  While he has gathered tremendous experience working in the travel, finance and biotechnology sectors, he was always keen on exploring the education space. And now, he is really excited about donning the mantle to spearhead the vertical at Univariety, which will enable him – “to envision, challenge, evaluate and apply new technology into this domain”.

Srini completed Masters in the US and worked for 14+ years before moving back to India in 2008. In his last role as a technical architect/delivery lead with Monsanto India, he was responsible in building and delivering the next gen platform to educate farmers on managing their farms scientifically. Srini effortlessly manages and works with large teams and will be creating a mammoth group of technical experts, web designers and a host of related support systems for Univariety. 

He holds a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal University in India and Master of Science majoring in Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering from Wichita State University, Wichita, USA. Srini is fascinated by technology and is a gadget freak. And if he is not amidst his gadgets he can be found gardening or even cooking and enjoys his time spent with his two sons or playing badminton or chess.

Anshika strongly believes that students in India and the Indian sub-continent are in need of genuine information and awareness about universities abroad, and is enthusiastic on her role as mentor, guiding students toward their goals -- “there is nothing more satisfying than to be able to guide, mentor and help students find what is best for them, and this is what excites me”.

Her extensive exposure with the international education systems and processes in the past 11 years, has gained Anshika a solid foundation in knowledge, understanding and nuances of student education.  She will manage multiple teams to ensure both online and offline engagements in multiple locations in India and create a team of efficient resource persons who will be clued in on what’s happening on campuses world over – be it new courses, new areas of study, guiding students on how to apply and all that may be required to get in to a college/university that matches their profile.  Her strengths in interacting and dealing with people, mentoring, nurturing and leadership will add a vibrant dimension to this pivotal role.
Prior to this, Anshika was Head University Management Services with a prominent global education service provider. As the Head of University for the global education business Anshika travelled to many international countries, gathering first-hand understanding of their education systems and industry trends, and is an expert with the international education system.

An MBA in HR from IGNOU, Gold medallist in LL.B. from Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, Anshika has been an achiever throughout her education.  Anshika revels in being on top of things, be it current affairs, industry trends pursuing higher studies or new technology. While the quirky side of her is ignited with her passion for automobiles particularly cars and wants to own every new car in the market, the milder Anshika delights in old Hindi melodies.
